Notes

Samba is part one of Denmark's Uppercut dance theater’s trilogy What Was Must Die. It invites us into a red fantasy where the samba arena becomes a space for celebration, secrets and community tensions. Vibrant and sensory, the piece combines live music, masks and direct body language to explore everything that happens between us: misunderstandings, temptations, balances and complicities.
